Hi, I am Noah
I am a project manager. Parent. Expat living in Toronto, Canada.
Some years back I moved here with my family. What started as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Canada wasn't part of the long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Day-to-day chores seemed more complex than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and a lot of learning on the job. But gradually routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt stable.
Why I Built Meek Grove Haven
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to close that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Canada.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Canada
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site isn't:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- Not a sponsored review platform
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Canada goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll continue recording what we find.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Noah
